This is not a basic arts-and-crafts class. Kenneth’s work centers around custom tufted pieces that blend portraiture, culture, fashion, storytelling, and contemporary art. His portfolio includes detailed portrait rugs, large-format statement pieces, and original designs that turn traditional rug-making into collectible artwork.

During Tuft & Vibe: The Rug Lab, Kenneth will guide guests through the creative process while providing the materials, equipment, and hands-on support needed to create a custom piece of their own.

No previous rug-making experience is required.

Meet Kenneth LeDale

Kenneth LeDale is the artist behind Thread Theory Rugs, a creative brand focused on custom rug art and original tufted designs.

His work goes beyond functional rugs, using texture, color, portraiture, and cultural references to create pieces designed to stand on their own as artwork.

Guests at Tuft & Vibe will have the opportunity to learn directly from Kenneth, see his process up close, and experience the craftsmanship behind Thread Theory Rugs.
